The MAIGA token is central to the Maiga protocol. MAIGA is designed to be sustainably distributed over a long-term based on trading volume, with a fixed supply, and focusing on liquidity.&#x20;

1. Users need to use the MAIGA token to launch a new AI agent with our automated launchpad (bonding curve). This is similar to the Virtuals.io AI agent platform. Therefore, creating “demand” for the token. \*coming soon\*
2. User who stakes their MAIGA token also get whitelist sale allocation for MAIGA IDO launchpad for tier-1 AI agent projects, in the future. \*coming soon\*

## What is MAIGA token used for within Maiga.ai ecosystem?

1. **$MAIGA is the base Asset for AI Agent economy**

   1. Liquidity Pairing: All AI agent token is paired with the $MAIGA token in its respective liquidity pool. Creating a new AI agent requires MAIGA tokens, which are used to pair with the AI agent's liquidity pool. As these AI Agent LP pools are locked, this creates deflationary mechanics on $MAIGA tokens.
   2. Routing Currency: As the demand for AI agent tokens grows, all transactions are routed through the MAIGA token. Users must swap their BNB (or other cryptocurrencies) into $MAIGA before swapping into any AI agent tokens. This flow generates buy pressure and trading volume for MAIGA token, similar to how SOL or BNB serve as the base currency in the Solana or Binance ecosystems, respectively.

2. $**MAIGA facilitates the onchain AI Agent economy**
   1. AI Agents payments: Users pay for AI agent with freemium or discounted access to AI agent services.These payments are made onchain to AI agent's wallet using the MAIGA token.
   2. Sustainable economy: With the right incentives, collective demand and services paid for these AI agents, will influence over agent skills and platform features.
